1
Tuxedo or Suit
A tuxedo has satin on the lapel, piping on the pocket, buttons, and a satin stipe down the leg. A suit does not have any satin and is not as formal as a tuxedo.
2
Notch, peak or Shawl lapel
A Notch Lapel is a small cut out in the lapel. A Peak Lapel is pointed at the top.
A shawl lapel is strictly for tuxedos and it wraps around the neck in a circular shape.
3
Fabric Color
We recommend keeping in mind the season of the wedding, the weight of the fabric, and the versatility of the suit after the wedding.
